Don't Kill the Messenger Update!

We're super excited to announce that we're officially running a Kickstartercampaign to fund the full development of the project! Please check out the campaign and see the various rewards up for grabs over there after you've played the demo and seen the game for yourself.

We've also updated the latest demo with TONS of updates, toys, and overall improvements to the state of the game listed below ...

New Enemies

  • Fire Flowers: Creating AOE damage threat for players to run around
  • Crows: Diving to their very doom at the chance to damage players
  • Moles: Sneaky burrowers with stuffy noses

Balance Changes

  • Water is greatly reduced throughout dungeons and won't kill you as much (probably)
  • Dragon Boss now deals less bite damage (though still significantly hurts)
  • Witches don't kill themselves anymore (that's on you now)

Bug Fixes / Quality of Life

  • Water should no longer break the player character completely
  • Some dungeon rooms have been re-arranged to avoid "cheap shot" accidental damage incidents 
  • Legend has been added to the map screen
  • Witches shouldn't teleport on top of players as much
  • Overall UI re-arrangement for Battle and Carnival levels
  • Tutorial area reworked to better clarify game mechanics
  • Enemies frozen in time will now INSTANTLY die rather than waiting for time to resume
  • And MUCH, MUCH MORE!
